I’ve made a few small changes to the blog, partly on appearance and partly on categorisations.
The background has been changed to make it a little less Nature oriented. Nothing wrong with Nature (far from it), but I thought it could do with a change. I’ve also changed the header picture to harmonise better with the new background. The side images have also been changed a bit, to give it a slightly cleaner, but more varied look.
More importantly I thought it was time to review the category links on the front page.
Reflecting my very definite parting with identity politics, I’ve taken “LGBT Rights” and “Transgender Issues” off the list. The posts they referred to are still there, and I may still write on related subjects, but they will be locatable by searching for things like gender, sexuality, sex, society and culture as appropriate.
“Gay Male” has been relabelled as “Male-Male Sexuality”, as I do not identify as “gay” anymore (except for purposes of pragmatic brevity of communication in everyday life). “Male-Male Sexuality” gives a broader, less culturally identified, and less pigeon holed subject heading to write on, and one that I can write on more honestly.
Hope you like the changes.
